Start with a defined product assortment
Choose the material and a construction that suit the range you want to sell. A chevron acacia design, a thick end-grain board and a solid teak paddle offer different shapes, weights, appearance and production requirements. Develop a clear product position before requesting a price across unrelated boards.
Start with our chevron acacia cutting boards, acacia end-grain butcher blocks or teak paddle boards. Identify the quantity and specification for each SKU, including the contents of any set.
Measure the packaged unit as well as the board
Record product length, width, thickness and net weight, then establish the dimensions and weight of the finished retail pack. A gift box, protective insert or accessory changes the unit that is stored, handled and shipped.
Use the proposed packaged dimensions and weight when estimating marketplace fulfilment costs. Amazon's official FBA overview links to its current product requirements and shipment workflow. The seller supplies the marketplace-specific instructions and final shipment plan for the quoted order.
Confirm barcode artwork and label positions
Share the product and carton label files required by your selling program, including FNSKU artwork where applicable. Define the label location, printable area, SKU identification and which barcode must be visible on the finished unit. Retail artwork and fulfilment labels should be reviewed together before packing.
For a set, specify whether the boards form one saleable unit or separate items. Provide the current packing and labelling instructions from your marketplace account so we can review the factory scope against the actual requirement. Our packaging and engraving guide covers the product-side decisions.
Build a recognisable private-label product
Laser engraving, a branded sleeve or box and a useful care insert can connect the board to your brand. Send vector artwork with the engraving size and position. Approve how the logo looks on the wood, where natural grain and colour influence contrast.
Product photography should show the approved construction, groove, thickness and handle details accurately. Retain the physical sample as the reference for your listing specifications and production checks. Include suitable care instructions for the chosen finish and intended use.
Plan MOQ, sampling and replenishment by SKU
Standard board programs can start from 500 pieces per SKU. Selected mixed-SKU trials from 100 pieces per SKU require product and packaging approval. Catalogue items can have different minimums: end-grain boards and solid teak paddle boards list 1,000 pieces per size or item.
Printed packaging may introduce a separate practical minimum. Request sampling scope and cost before committing to the launch calendar. Bulk production is typically planned for 30–45 days after product, sample and artwork approval, with the confirmed schedule based on material availability and the actual assortment.
Send an e-commerce-ready sourcing brief
Your RFQ should include the product name or photo or drawing, material, construction, dimensions, quantity per SKU, logo, retail pack, care insert, label files and destination. Add the requested carton arrangement, delivery scope and target shipment window.
Before final approval, review the sample, packaged-unit dimensions, carton information and inspection criteria as one specification. The OEM RFQ checklist provides a copy-ready field list for that discussion.
Before you request a quotation.
Can a new brand request a small trial order?
Selected mixed-SKU programs can be reviewed from 100 pieces per SKU, subject to product and packaging approval. The standard starting point is 500 pieces per SKU, and catalogue-specific minimums still apply. Catalogue end-grain boards require 1,000 pieces per size; the solid teak paddle board requires 1,000 pieces per item.
Can you apply our barcode or FNSKU label?
Supply the required files, size and placement instructions with your RFQ. Label application and carton markings are confirmed as part of the quoted packing scope.
Do you provide a single fixed price for an Amazon cutting board?
Pricing depends on the actual material, size, thickness, construction, branding, packaging and quantity. Compare the complete packaged unit when reviewing quotations.
