Commercial, product and compliance questions.
What is your MOQ for cutting boards?
Standard MOQ is 500 pieces per SKU. Selected mixed-SKU trial programs can start from 100 pieces per SKU, subject to product and packaging approval. Printed packaging can create a higher practical minimum.
What is the typical bulk production lead time?
A practical planning range is 30–45 days after the product specification, sample and artwork are approved. Material availability, construction complexity, quantity and packaging can change the schedule.
Can you manufacture from a CAD drawing or reference sample?
Yes. Send the drawing, CAD file, reference image or physical sample with dimensions, target material, quantity, destination and required features. We review feasibility before quotation.
Do you use a food-grade finish on acacia boards?
Food-grade oil finishing is available for acacia programs. Destination-specific testing, alternative coatings or special care requirements should be written into the RFQ and confirmed for the exact SKU.
Can you manufacture face-grain, edge-grain and end-grain boards?
Yes, subject to the selected wood, dimensions and technical review. End-grain construction requires a more detailed block-layout and thickness specification than a simple face-grain board.
Can you laser engrave our logo?
Yes. Supply vector artwork, desired engraving dimensions and placement. For retail programs, approve the logo position on the sample before bulk production.
Do you provide retail packaging?
Yes. Sleeves, kraft boxes, printed gift boxes, inserts, labels, barcodes and export cartons can be reviewed. Packaging setup and print minimums are quoted with the product.
What food-contact documents should EU buyers request?
Define the exact finished article and your destination requirements. EU buyers commonly review Regulation (EC) No 1935/2004 requirements and may specify additional national or laboratory test scopes. Do not rely on a generic “food safe” statement alone.
What should US buyers check under the Lacey Act?
The Lacey Act prohibits trade in illegally harvested plant products, and APHIS declaration requirements depend on the HTS code and entry type. Confirm the current implementation schedule with your customs broker for the exact product.
What should we request for teak traceability?
Request botanical species, country of harvest or source, supplier records and the legality or chain-of-custody documentation required for your market. The trade name alone is not enough.
Can you support multiple SKUs in one sourcing program?
Yes. Send the quantity and specification for each SKU separately. We review board construction, packaging and production load across the full assortment before confirming the order plan.
Do you sell single boards to consumers?
No. This site is for wholesale, OEM and private-label business sourcing. The RFQ is designed for importers, distributors, retailers, hospitality suppliers and brands.
Sampling, packing and export planning.
Can we request a pre-production sample?
Yes. Sampling scope, charge and timing are confirmed after the specification review. The approved sample can serve as the visual and dimensional reference for bulk production.
How should moisture content be specified?
Agree a target and inspection method that suit the wood species, board construction, destination climate and packing method. A universal number should not be copied from an unrelated product.
Can you arrange product inspection before shipment?
Inspection scope can be agreed before the purchase order. Define the checkpoints, tolerances, sample size or third-party inspection requirement so the quotation and schedule account for it.
Which shipping terms can you quote?
State the destination city or port and preferred Incoterm. Available FOB, CIF, DDU/DDP-style or other shipping scopes are confirmed case by case with the current freight quotation and destination requirements.
How are payment terms handled?
Payment milestones are confirmed in the quotation and order agreement. We do not assume open-account terms unless specifically agreed in writing before the order.
What should be retained for repeat orders?
Keep the approved drawing, sample reference, logo artwork, packaging files, carton specification and inspection criteria. Repeatability depends on using the same agreed reference, while natural wood grain will still vary.
Have a specification we should review?
Send your drawing, dimensions and target quantity. We’ll review the specification and discuss a practical route to production.
